Angie LaPointe – Owner

Angie LaPointe

Angie LaPointe

Angie graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Minor in Business Management in 1995. There she competed in Track and Field. Her experience and passion for fitness led her to start her career out of college as a Personal Trainer. She pursued a National Personal Training Certification with National Academy of Sports Medicine, which made a huge impact on her career and helping clients reach their personal fitness goals. With 16+ years as a personal trainer and business owner she has learned a lot about fitness, people, and herself. Being a trainer has allowed her to help people change their lives forever and that is what keeps her motivated, the client’s success!

Angie has a very severe case of Scoliosis, which had not bothered her most of her life. In fact, she ran the Portland Marathon in 3:49 and Hood to Coast. However, 2009 was the year she experienced serious problems with her back. She had 6 bulging discs in her low back, as well as severe nerve pain. This was a huge wake-up call; she went from running 5 miles per day to not being able to stand. With much persistence, Angie was able to get the help she needed to recover and in the process learned a whole new style of personal training, The Egosque Method.  Now, she has been able to help other people in serious pain, become pain free and improve the quality of their life!

Most importantly, Angie is a mother of 3 amazing boys and has been married for almost 20 years. Those boys keep her on her toes. Family is very important to her. She enjoys camping, water skiing, gardening, watching her boys in their sports, and being with family. She wants to learn to play the guitar, but has yet to make the time!
