Being slender all my life, I dismissed the need for an exercise routine for years. I have always had more of a problem keeping my weight up and exercise was for people who were trying to lose weight, right? I couldn’t have been more wrong! Advice from my friend JJ (and nagging from my doctor) finally convinced me to check out Better Body Fitness NW. It was one of the best decisions of my life.
From the very first day, I have felt a genuine concern for my well-being and emphasis on my goals – greater strength, flexibility and balance. I thought I would hate exercising, that I would do it like tasting bad-tasting medicine, but I wouldn’t enjoy it at all. Quite the contrary, working with Maddie has become one of the highlights of my week. Her genuine interest in me as a person is obvious and the challenges she sets for me are exactly right. In addition to making significant physical progress in just six months, I am eating on a more regular basis and sleeping better than I have in years.
Most important of all is that I am developing habits that I believe will help me be active and energetic for many, many more years. Thank you, everyone at BBFNW!
